In 1971, RPC Formatec was founded as a subsidiary of Josef Wischerath KG, Cologne, in Mellrichstadt. The company quickly developed into a successful and growing business and in 1994 was acquired by Czech Holding in Neutraubling near Regensburg. Since 2000, RPC Formatec has been part of the global RPC Group.
